Oct 13, 2025 Oct 13, 2025

I am new to 2025 --------- unable to move the taskbar to the top of the screen.

Online instructions say to click and drag the handle on the left side -- but my taskbar has no handle or title.

I tried custon workspace but that didn't help.

What am I doing wrong?

You cannot move the toolbars in Elements 2025.  You can only rearrange the right side panels.

You must have been looking at the instructions for Photoshop CC.

I know this is not your doing, but this is BS.

I happily used Elements for years but my version is apparently not compatible with Win 11.

I didn't mind having to buy 2025 -- my issue is functionality -- things seem to be 10 times harder to do.

S'pose I'll just have to suck it up and adapt, but Im not a happy boy right now.

However ---------- THANKS for your responses. I appreciate your knowledge...

Here is what I'm used to -- simple layout and everything I need is right there.

Guess I'm outdated, but I long for the old days...

That's a pretty old version in your screenshot.   I'm more used to a simliar layout- such as what I have in photoshop- which did take abotu 6 moths forr me to get used to.    I'm certain you will find the newest version easier to work with in the long run.
