In PSE2021 it was easy to create a shortcut to start the photo editor without going through the home screen. All you had to do was find the right .exe file and create a shortcut. I have been trying to do the same for PSE 2022 but can't find the right .exe file. Adobe seems to made some revisions in PSE2022 to make it difficult (if not impossible). Is there still a simple way to bypass the home screen to get to the photo editor? If so, what is it?
Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob. Haven't seen you in a while. Hope all is well with you.
The exe file is in the same place it has always been.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2022
Make sure you are selecting the PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe not the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 file which opens the Home Screen.
At least it is in Windows 10. I can't imagine that it has changed in Windows 11, but I don't know for sure.
Or you can also pin the Editor's icon to the Taskbar (which is what I do).
