To create a panoramic photo, it is very easy to do through Elements Organiser, which creates the panoramic photo via the editor. At this point, the photo can be saved. So far no problems.
However, if I then want to view the photo in the Elements Organiser I can't. Seemingly, the only way to view it is to open it in Elements Editor. This is not satisfactory for three reasons.
1. In Editor, it is impossible to view it as a "full screen" photo.
2. It cannot be included with your other non panoramic photos in an on screen album presentation.
3. I have not tried, but I suspect that if I sent it off to be printed, the the print lab. also would in all likelihood be unable to open it.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so is there a solution?
Thanks
Eric

The merged file is usually saved to the same folder as the individual originals. It is saved in the PSD format. You should be able to select it in Organizer (with blue/white checkmark) and simply Press F11 to view full screen.
Think of the PSD as your master. So you can export a jpeg whenever you need one. While the PSD file is selected go to the Organizer menu and choose:
File >> Export As New File(s)
Choose jpeg
Choose a file size e.g. for print or choose your own custom size
Choose a folder location
Click Export

Eric,
The only special feature about panoramas is the size in pixels.
Photoshop Elements maximum image size limits
So, the only visualization problem is to create thumbnails in the organizer.
- Yes, you can display the file as a "full screen" photo like any other file with the same pixels dimensions. Are you aware of the double click on the top icons of the tool bar: the magnifying glass and the hand tool?
- You can include files of any size in the 'full screen' mode of the organizer for instant slideshows.
- Print labs may have limitations for the size in pixels of the files. You can always resize any image in pixels (check the 'resample' checkbox).
Once again, don't concentrate on 'panoramas', concentrate on pixel sizes of your images.
