how to adjust slides to synchronize with music in SlideShow creator

New Here ,
Dec 27, 2018 Dec 27, 2018

I have Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2019 and am trying to put together a slide show for my wife and her birthday.

The photos are in place and it looks great and I picked 5 songs to play which last about 21 minutes. The slides though stop at 17 minutes.

How can I lengthen the time between the slides to match the songs? There is not a trim tool as suggested nor can I see the editor that shows up in the older versions of Organizer.

Each time I go to help, I am taken to the Adobe web site and it links to older versions of Elements.

Thank you.

Sal

Keep me on your question about slide length versus music length.  I am having the same issue!

Are you talking about the slideshow editor in the Organizer or are you talking about creating your own slideshow in Premiere Elements?

The only way I know of to change the slide length in the Organizer slideshow editor is to add or subtract slides or else change the theme.  I assume this is not what you want to do.  In that case, you need to use Premiere Elements to customize the length of your slides or your music.

You can also use the music remix tool in Premiere to change the length of the music seamlessly.  It does a fairly good job of editing the music without you noticing that a part has been cut out or repeated.

Thanks for your response. I used Organizer to create my slideshow, not Premiere. After some experimenting I inserted 3 slides to adjust the timing of music to time of show. That works but several iterations ago PSE had a method to adjust / correct timing differences. I respectfully remind programmers - "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
