I want to know how to copy pictures from elements 15 organiser to usb stick and cd or dvd.

Hi Ross,

You can use any of the following option:

1. You can simply select the picture->drag and drop the pictures to external drive

2. You can select the pictures->copy and paste the pictures

3. For cd/dvd, you can use Select the media-> File-> Copy/Move to removable drives options.

When you drag and drop from the left folders panel to another location (drive or master folder), you don't copy, you move your files.

2. You can select the pictures->copy and paste the pictures

That is the way to copy from the Explorer/Finder. I don't know how to do that in the organizer. My own way is to use the menu File >> duplicate to create a copy, then I drag and drop the copy to the new media or folder.

3. For cd/dvd, you can use Select the media-> File-> Copy/Move to removable drives options.

That should also work with the USB stick.

My advice: use the 'export as new files' function of the organizer.

That's it's main use, but it also offers several very interesting options when copying: you can resize, rename, change the format, compress...
