How to enter new place tags in Elements 18

I can't enter new place tags as I did in the past. My Canon cameras, although expensive ( 7D & 5D Mk 3) have no GPS and I don't want to do any thing other than enter the place I took photos. I don't want to drop pins here, there and every where. Google maps did pop up each time a few months back but now it does not. I do not want to buy 2019 because I have just bought 2018.

Any help, please?
