Using PSE 2024. Full bakcup of my  catalog with 12,000+ photos takes about 20+ minutes.  I thought I would try an incremental backup to save a little time and to keep my catalog up to date..  When prompted I selected drive D: , Incremental Backup.  The next screen prompted for Backup Path and under that Previous Backup File.  I presumed 'Backup Path' was the folder into which the incremental photos would be placed and the Previous Backup FIle was the path to the folder where my last full backup was located.  Silly me...I think.  When I entered these loctions PSE came up with a screen showing a file suffixed with -.TLY and that's it!  the folder associated with the Backup Path had nothing in it!  I called support twice but both techs seem to not understand or could not explain how to perform an incremental backup.  So any help or a link on how to do this would be appreciated.  Guess I will always do a full backup if I cannot find and understand how the incremental backup is performed.  Thanks for your time.  gcutuly@zoominternet.net
