I am trying to check for updates for my Photoshop Elements 10.0 on my Mac OS X 10.13 (High Sierra).
When I first clicked on 'Updates...' from the Help menu, Adobe Application Manager opened briefly then crashed. Repeatedly.
When I opened Adobe Application Manager from Applications folder it said something like "Adobe Application Manager is not optimized for Mac OS X High Sierra".
Figuring the app manager was out of date I deleted it and then tried Updates... again.
After downloading and running Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to clean up Adobe Application Manager properly it said
"Adobe Application Manager, required to update your product, is missing or damaged. Please download a new copy of Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager."
When I go to this URL I am redirected to: https://www.adobe.com/ca/ instead.
Wondering what to do, I tried downloading Creative Cloud (Version 4.6). But this made no difference to the above error message I now get when clicking Updates in the Help menu.
How do I update my Photoshop Elements software?

You can get the latest Adobe Application Manager from here:
Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Macintosh : Adobe Application Manager
The only update for photoshop elements 10 is camera raw 6.7, so if you already have camera raw 6.7 then there are no other updates.
In pse 10 go to Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor>About Plug-In>Camera Raw to see the version.
If you do need camera raw 6.7 and Help>Updates still doesn't work after installing the Adobe Application Manager you can get the camera raw 6.7 installer from here:
Adobe - Photoshop Elements : For Macintosh : Camera Raw 6.7 update for Elements 10

Okay thanks. I tried installing AAM with the link you provided and it seemed to go get to the end of installation process but there was no notification such as "Adobe Application Manager successfully installed" so I am suspicious.
Here is what it looks like after installation:
It doesn't look like an OS X app and PS Elements still says "Adobe Application Manager, required to update your product, is missing or damaged..." when I click "Updates..."
I have Camera Raw 6.7 so I guess I don't need to update but wouldn't it be nice to fix the bugs in the "Updates..." process so users don't have to spend an hour messing around and posting in forums to find out that it doesn't need updating?

That's the way the installed Adobe Application Manager should look.
Something that only photoshop elements 10 installs linking it and a adobe application manager may have been deleted when running the Creative Cloud Cleaner.
If you really want to fix the updater, you probably need to reinstall photoshop elements 10 and then possibly reinstall the updated Adobe Application Manager, but try Help>Updates first before doing that.
