HP M452 Laserjet won't print from RAW originals in Elements 15

Files from JPG originals print fine, but not files made from RAW originals.  I've waited up to five minutes for results with no joy.  There are no messages of any kind.  Print files for both types are about 55 Meg.  Help!  Thank you.

I also posted this in the HP support forum.

Raw files are not image files, just recordings of the raw pixel values. They have to be converted to an image file format like jpeg, tiff or psd to be printed; printing raw images does not make sense. In Elements, you open the raw file in the ACR raw converter; you edit it to your own taste and click on 'Open' to send the converted version to the editor, and from there, you can print.

If you select a supported raw file from the organizer and choose 'Print', the raw file is converted before being printed, which takes some time.

My original post was poorly written, let me try again.  I open the RAW image in Camera Raw 9.10 for my Canon camera.  After performing changes in RAW, I “open image” into Photoshop Elements and perform more changes.  I then “save as” a TIF file.

After closing the RAW file, I call up the TIF and print this.  There are times when the first few prints appear normally, then the printer hangs up with no error messages and no more prints are made.  It’s a situation of “sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.”

I can still make my prints from the JPG originals, but I can see the improved details from the RAW and it’s frustrating not being able to produce the best results for the folks at the high school (I shoot local high school sports).  Thanks again.
