I bought the Adobe Elements and Photoshop bundle 2019 thinking, that would last me for a few years.
I was stunned to find that the Elements no longer works since Catalina upgrade.
What is very confusing is that the Photoshop continues to work, just the Elements doesn't.
After contacting online support, I was pointed to a thread in this community with a workaround.
Trouble is that I am not a software expert.
I have no idea how to do the complex instructions (well they are to me!) and so cannot do the fix?
Why should I fix software when I bought it in good faith. Is there not a need for a simple fix or a newer version with no 32 bit software? This has been ongoing for over a year so why does Adobe not fix it?
Alternatively, to keep loyal customers onboard, could they not offer an upgrade to a newer version that actually works?
I have been using this software since1998 with Adobe 5.
I am so frustrated by the hassle involved.
I am not a professional, but I do like to edit my photos and occassionally videos.
Sadly, this is no longer possible.
Annoyed doesn't begin to express my frustration, disappointment and anger at Adobe.
I have the serial numbers and the software should be valid for another 3 years! IF ONLY!
"Each serial number will allow installation of one product on one computer. The numbers will work for the Windows version and the Mac version.
Please note: The license for this product will expire on November 30, 2023. After that date, you will not be able to use the product unless you obtain a new license."
I havwe a license, but cannit use it!
Is anyone at Adobe able to help me? I have no idea what an executable file is or where you would use it!
HELP PLEASE!

Howard,
You have two issues because you have not been warned about two hard facts:
- There is no "bundle" for Elements and Photoshop. They are always separate purchases; Photoshop is a subscription model you pay monthly or yearly, Elements is a "perpetual" licensing model you pay only once, and which works until you change the hardware or operating system requirements for which it has been built.
- Unfortunately, Apple decided to drastically change its operating system when launching Catalina. That meant that most older applications would not work on Catalina, not only for Adobe but for other software editors. The fact was widely commented at least one year before the lauch of Catalina, but many Mac users were not aware of the fact. So, the advice was DON'T upgrade to Catalina, or downgrade to a previous version. By the way, it appears that there had been many other new requirements than 64 bits for Catalina.
That said, I don't understand your note about the license expiring in 3 years. Was it for Photoshop, Elements or Catalina?
(I am not a Mac user).
