I have made a signature brush but anytime I try to use the Guided to change background, brush lost! When I go back to editing, the brush is no where to be found. Is there a way to save it so it will work after changing the background?

Looks like Replace Background in Guided Edit selects the Default Brush set and resets it losing whatever unsaved bruhes are in that set.

I would save out the Signature brush or any other custom brushes to a new set by going to Edit>Preset Manager, clicking on the Signature Brush, then click Save Set.

You are not brushing on the correct layer.  If you are happy with the contents of the current image, merge the layers (Ctrl+Shift+E) and you should be able to put the signature wherever you want it.

Where are you looking for the brush?  It should be at the bottom of the brush set where you saved it.

That is where I am looking and it doesn't show up there.

Thanks for trying. I just tried that and after I go to the Guided edit and choose a background and then go back to the advanced edit---the signature is not shown in the brushes anymore! Strange but true. Then, when I go to the preset manager, I can find the brush and kindof make it work but the signature can only be placed on the original part of the photo and not the background, if that makes sense. In this case, I had a photo of an Eagle I took and then went to guided and selected him and selected a different background.
