I have photoshop elements 15. I am a newbie. I watched several instructional videos about photoshop. I purchased a Christmas card template from Creative Market. I don't know how to get my photo to fit in the appropriate space in the card. Can you help me?

I purchased a Christmas card template from creative market. I am trying to place my photo in the card, but can't seem to do so. I'm sure that it is a very simple technique, but my lack of experience wiith photoshop is getting the best of me. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance. If you could refer me to any youtube videos, I would appreciate it.

Open your template in the Editor (Expert mode) and use:

File >> Place

Navigate to your photo and choose it which will drop it in the center. Change the layer order if necessary

Switch to the move tool to drag it into position.
