I need help locating a key function

I'm working on creating a glitter background and I can' find the subtraction option under set the blending mode for the layer drop down menu. Has this option renamed?

Unfortunately this blend mode is not available in Elements, only in Photoshop.

I assume you are following a tutorial? If you can give more description of the effect you are after (for instance links to the tutorial or photos with the 'glitter' effect) I suppose you may get Elements alternatives.

Yes, I'm viewing a tutorial via YouTube by Helen Bradley: Make Glitter Backgrounds, patterns and Glitter Text Effects in Photoshop. I specifically type in the search box Photoshop Elements 2018 but I still get random Photoshop video's. Thank you for the blending mode directions.
