I recently purchased Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements.  I had to upgrade to El Capitan to be able to download the software.  After the upgrade and download, I cannot launch Elements 15.  The program keeps crashing.

Can you please try resetting Editor preferences by launching Editor keeping Cmd+Alt+Shift keys pressed and clicking 'Yes' when prompted to delete preference settings?

Hi All,

On 2007 manufactured Mac machines, such as iMac 7.1 and MacBook Pro 3.1 (systems manufactured in mid/late 2007), MMXCore.plugin, one of the performance optimization plugins that gets installed with Adobe Photoshop Elements 15, is not compatible. Due to this, the application crashes on launch on specifically these Mac machines.

• In the Finder window, click Go > Applications > Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 > Support Files.
• Right click Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app and select Show Package Contents.

  

• Navigate to Contents > Required > Plug-Ins > Extensions.
• Search for MMXCore.plugin and move it to trash.
