Image is being printed in the wrong position

I'm trying to print an image but it has to be exactly in a certain position on the paper, basically in the very center. When I print it it prints it at the very top of the page. Thoughts ?

What would work with any kind of printers would be to:

- create a 'canvas', that is a new blank file with the size and resolution for your paper

- drag your own image file from the photo bin to the canvas (appears as a new 'smart' layer in the layer palette

- resize and position as you want the newly created layer

- 'flatten' image and print.
