Import from Camera and card reader

Hello.

When I try to import from camera and Card reader I get a fault message saying "cannot load the plugins required to retrieve media from devices" (translated from Norwegian).

But where do I find this plugin, and how do I install it?

Are you trying to import raw files from a newer camera?  If so, you may not have a version of Adobe Camera Raw that is able to handle the files.

Hi Per Lund,

Can you please specify which camera model are you using?

May be your current camera raw plugin doesn't support your camera files, then you may have to update your camera raw plugin.

I can open raw files from the camera (Panasonic DMC-TZ100).

The problem is when I try to use the function Get Photos from Camera or Card readers. And it doesen't matter what file type it is, the error message comes before I get the option to select source.

What I am trying to do is this: Import media from cameras and card readers with Elements Organizer , but it stops at point 2.

It did work in an previous version of PSE.
