Import Lightroom Photos into 2018

New Here ,

I've been from PS Elements (about V.12) to Lightroom standalone to Lightroom/Photoshop CC. Now I'm moving from Lightroom CC to Photoshop Elements 2018. I'm at the point that I don't need the power or the cost of CC anymore. I'm only doing photography for personal interest and family and friends, and PSE 2018 seems more than powerful enough for my needs.

I imported the Lightroom catalog structure into Elements and it seemed like I lost some metadata, which is not unexpected, like maybe some map/location info, etc. Is there a reference that would tell me what does not migrate with the change to PE 2018?

Also, any tips regarding this process would be appreciated. It seems like a vast majority of the users are going the other way!

Thanks.

Tony
