My new Adobe Premiere Elements 15 program does not recognize my Canon MV500i camcorder, which I connected with the IEEE1394 connection on my computer (Windows 7).

When I choose for “import video” a message appears saying “There is no hardware available” (see attachment).

A different video program recognises a DV microsoft video camcorder connected by the same IEEE1394 connection and performs well.

Do you have a suggestion for me?

Jos Gordijn
