Hi!

I am using Elements 14 and I feel it is enough for my use except I need a newer Camera raw version handling CR3-files (Canon). The version of Camera raw that handles CR3 does not work with Elements 14, they say.

If I buy Elements 2023, is it possible to install it and not loosing my Albums and Maps that are in Elements 14?

/Lars

Move Elements Organizer catalog (adobe.com)

Have you considered using the DNG converter for the raw files?

Adobe Digital Negative Converter

Be aware that Adobe is expected to launch a new version  (2024) of PSE very soon.

Whether you buy Elements 2023 or the soon to be released Elements 2024, you will not lose any of your catalog organization.  When you buy a new version, the first time you launch the Organizer, you will be asked whether you want to use/convert your (last used) catalog.  You should respond yes, and the catalog will be converted to fully work in the new version's Organizer.  (The process is automatic and takes a while, but you don't need to move the catalog.  A copy of the version 14 catalog will also be made and will still work with that version of Elements.)

If you don't want to purchase a newer version, then @hatstead's  suggestion to convert  your new camera's raw files to .dng format will also work for you.
