Installation PS Elements 2025 won't start

Hello everyone,

I am currently trying to install Photoshop Elements 2025 with the installer PhotoshopElements_2025_LS30_win64.exe. After starting, authentication takes place on the Adobe site (using Adobe ID) with the check via the Account Access App. The login is confirmed and I am asked to close the window. The installation should now continue automatically in the installer. However, this does not happen, nothing happens. The link in case the browser does not respond does not work either (nothing happens when I click on it, even clicking +ctrl did not help).  It seems that the transfer of authentication to the installer fails. I then tried the following:

- Start the installer programme as administrator

- Switch off the anti-virus programme

- Switching browsers (Firefox, Chrome and Edge)

- Enabling the Adobe page in the browser for pop-ups etc.

Nothing helped. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Notes on the system:

Win 11 pro 64, 23H2 Build 22631.4391

Intel 12700k, NVIDIA Geforce 3070ti, 64 GB RAM

All drivers are up to date.

Installed on the computer are Adobe PS Elements 2024, LR 5.7.1 64 and Adobe Premiere 2021. Creative cloud was uninstalled as a precaution.

Many thanks!

Best regards

Heiko

Hi Hatstead,
Thank you very much for your support and the hint. I had read the instructions and therefore uninstalled the Creative Cloud with the Adobe uninstall program. However, the installation was completed with an error message (without specifying an error number). I have now noticed that Adobe Reader also uses the cloud and uninstalled Acrobat Reader as a precaution. This helped and the installation went through. PSE 2024 is now running. The isssue is solved.

There was a posting yesterday re this issue, and the "fix" by Adobe tech was to uninstall Creative Cloud. You have done this on your machine, but the problem remains. Suggest that you contact Adobe directly via chat. Please let us know how you make out.
