I have recently purchased a 64gb Integral SD XC I ultima pro X card for my Canon 5d. After a trip out and taking some photos i tried to download them into Elements 14, only to find that elements does not recognise the card!! I have managed a work around but wondered if there was any info that could help

Are you sure its Elements which does not recognise the card (or your OS)? Did you try to use your OS (Explorer or Finder) to download the files to your computer? If you can, you can use import 'from files or folders' instead of 'from camera or card reader'.

Hi Michel, yes it is definitely Elements that is the problem. I also have Lightroom 5 I have done. As you suggested and downloaded with Lightroom then in element used file and folders. I just wondered why Elements 14 could not see it. I seem unable to find any info on the Adobe site but have not checked Integral as yet. Thank you for your help. Graham

If you can download images from Lightroom, the problem is not with your card type (easy to test another kind of card) and it's not with your card reader or its driver. When using the Import from camera or card reader command, you don't see the card reader? Did you try to reboot your computer, plug in your card reader, then open Elements?

Hi  Michel, yes have tried rebooting and putting card in a different slot but it still says "no device found" done the refresh list a couple of times but no luck. I think that as photos and Lightroom can see it it must be a Elements issue . All my other SD cards work ok, I have emailed Integral to see if they know of the problem. There appears to be no contact email to Adobe     Never mind I will continue to import with Lightroom then Elements from files and folders. Thank you for your help. Graham

Hi Michel, just an update on my Integral SD XC card, I contacted Integral who responded within a couple of hours, they are aware of the problem and have asked me to return the card to them for a reset. I am sending it off this morning and will report on its return. Graham
