I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2019 and installed onto my new laptop. But when I opened the Photo Editor, I have no cursor! It's just completely invisible. Anyone know how to troubleshoot this?

A couple of suggestions if you are using Windows.
Try pressing the Ctrl key to see whether the cursor appears.
Try going to Edit>Preferences>Display and Cursors and make some adjustments there.

This was something I found on a different forum when I was searching for a solution, and it didn't help. But I appreciate the info!

Hi Kim,
That shouldn't be happening, let us help make this right.
As the cursor is not visible in Photoshop Elements 2019, could you please try the steps as suggested by Greg and let us know if it helps?
You may also have a look at this article and see how it goes: Mouse cursor not visible or menus not opening in Adobe Elements Organizer

The Display and Cursors didn't help. I relaunched the program and the cursor came back, and I thought the problem was solved. Then while working on a project, I used the Guided edits, and when exiting that, my cursor disappeared again. Apparently the only thing that brings it back is relaunching the program?

Try resetting the Preferences:
Preference settings control how Photoshop Elements Editor displays images, cursors, and transparencies, saves files, uses plug‑ins and scratch disks, and so on. If the application exhibits unexpected behavior, the preferences file could be damaged. You can restore all preferences to their defaults.
Note: Deleting the preferences file is an action that cannot be undone.
Do one of the following:
A new preferences file is created the next time you start Photoshop Elements Editor. For information on a specific preference option, search for the preference name in Help.
