iPone 5S unable to download photos

I cannot get Elements 13 to recognize my iPone 5S & therefore unable to download photos into Adobe running with Windows 7. When & why was this feature lost?

How to correct it?

About 1-2 years ago it was working fime & downloading from the iPhone.
