Is it OK to uninstall elements 13 after installing elements 15?

I just upgraded from elements 13 to 15 on my Mac. It appears that all my photos are there when I open elements 15 organizer. Can I now safely uninstall elements 13 without fear of losing all the photos I had there?

The photos are on your hard drive wherever you put them. They are not stored in PSE.

Unless you are pressed for disk space, I would not be in a hurry to uninstall PSEv.13. Make sure that PSEv.15 work well before you do it.
