Windows 10 is expected to be available at the end of July. Let us know when you have the answer.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: it took me three tries (Acer Iconia W4 tablet with Win10), and I needed a little "brute force".  To wit: Win10 had trouble recognizing the external DVD drive I was attempting to use , so I copied the install files to a USB drive then to the microSD card I have in the machine (extra step, might not have been necessary) .  Still, the first two attempts failed on with an error on Shared Technologies and the installer removed everything.  In order to get PE 11 installed I disabled UAC, stopped all non-Microsoft services, and made sure that the install files were at the root of the microSD card. Third try was a charm.

Final note: the first time PE 11 launched it basically hung up.  On closing, it, I got an error that the software needed DirectPlay.  Once the system installed that, everything seems to be running okay (although VERY slow on the tablet - to be expected).

I just upgraded to Win 10 a week ago.  Everything works.   I'm amazed.   Not one glitch in all the programs.

I recommend it.  Faster boot, easier interface and ability to customize easily.   I like it.  Elements and Premier works just great for 11.

But, no anti-shake in 11 so I'm upgrading....as long as I don't have to get that stupid cloud agreement and monthly payment..otherwise  I'm

sticking with 11.  The free program Windows Movie Maker has the anti-shake already in it.  Heck even all my games worked, except War Thunder

which I turned off and restarted the next day and it also upgraded to 10.  good stuff.

I upgraded my laptop to Win 10 three days ago. I had a lot of teething problems with file sharing properties and attributes which now seem to be resolved, but no problems at all with Elements 11. As Oboenut advised the system called for Direct Play installation, which was quick and problem free, and Organiser thereafter created a working catalogue and Editor behaved impeccably. I downloaded my installation software from Adobes' website so didn't have Oboenuts' issue with the DVD drive. I have Elements 13 on my desktop which is still running on Win 7 and I loaded Win 10 onto my laptop specifically to try the Elements software before upgrading my desktop OS. Given the file property issues and a critical error issue that I have had with Win 10, I think I will stick with Win 7 on the desktop till Win 10 has had a few more bug fixes.

I downloaded Windows 10 to upgrade Windows 7. So far, I lost my scanner, printer, use of Picasa and worst of all the use of Photoshop Elements 11. I tried deleting the program and re-installing it from the disc. No joy there. I deleted it again and downloaded a trial version of Photoshop Elements 13 that worked fine for a month as expected.

Attempts to edit in any manner some of the hundreds of photos on my hard drive results in popups declaring that I do not have permission to do such and such and to go to places on the net that seem not to exist.

Bottom line?  Do not download Windows 10 especially if upgrading from Windows 7.  This results in being stuck with Windows 10.  Search engines show this new OS is highly problematic and full of bugs. I am sorry I even considered downloading this POX.

Almost 40 days and it looks as if I shall have to take the computer to a repair facility to get what I have paid for to function.
