Hi All
My Keyword tags are not now connected to my photo files. I have been using PSE 11 successfully for many years until thi problem surfaced overnight. I have now downloaded a trial version of PSE15 in the hope that it might solve the problem, No luck there. A list of my Keyword tags does show in a popup window in the the main Keyword Tags panel on the RHS of the screen.
Grateful for your help please.

Do you mean that in PSE11, suddenly:
1 - you are still able to browse your pictures (no 'missing' files)
2 - when you select any file which should have a keyword, none is shown
3 - if you try to select files by keywords present in the RHS keyword panel, none is selected?
Did you try the option to 'Repair' the catalog?'
Note: if you have used the trial version of PSE15 your catalog has been converted and the old catalog for PSE11 is still there with a -1 suffix.

Thanks Michel for your response…
To answer your questions:-
1. Yes can browse all of my photos (as far as I can tell) in bothe PSE 11 AND 15 (trial).
2. Yes - none is shown
3.Yes. The only keyword tags showing is a reduced, simple alphabetical list without Categories and Subcategories distinguished. This list is not appearing in the main Keyword Tag panel - which just contains a few of the Adobe- suggested categories. My list, in its reduced form, appears spasmodically in the small sub-window at the bottom of the main Keywords tag panel. If I try to click on any of the categories in this list the whole lot just disappear.
Hope you can help.
Cheers

This suggests some form of catalog corruption.
That's why it's very important to use the 'repair' function of the organizer.
The small sub-window at the bottom right end of the screen is a simple text input dialog to quickly find keywords to assign to selectec files in the browsing space. You simply input the starting characters and you are prompted a choice of keywords starting with those characters.
The problem is if you can't use the 'keywords' section of the panel on top of the panel on the right when showing tags instead of Information.
If it's only a display issue of the interface, you should be able to select files by using the small text input window or by using the advanced search. Also, in that case, when you browse your thumbnails and select a file you are sure you have already an assigned keyword it would show just under the text input dialog in the bottom right.
If it's really a catalog corruption problem and you have repaired the catalog, then come back for more suggestions.
