Suddenly I cannot use the lasso tool to add or subtract from a selection. I have shut down and restarted my computer and it still will not work. The quick selection tool will add or subtract from a selection but I cant use the lasso tool to do this.

1. Reset the lasso tool via the appropriate icon on the tool's option bar.
2. If that does not fix it, reset preferences via Edit menu>Preferences>General and click on "reset on next launch".
