Licence Duration

Hi,

What is the duration of an Elements 15 Licence?

On my previous version (elements 7) it was for life.

However, at least 1 retailer is advertising the licence for Elements 15 as valid for 12 months only.

There's no way I'm paying for a program that requires a repurchase every 12 months so I'm trying to find out up front what the licence period is for Elements 15.

The license duration is the same as it was for pse 7.

Adobe has pse 15 on special, though pse 16 is probably due out within the the next month or so.

Got a link? I've never heard of a time-limited license for Elements.

Could be a retailer mistake, but that's why I wanted to clarify to ensure I wasn't buying a limited licence if I buy PE (from anywhere).

Judging from the Q&A on that page, it's confusing others too. Can't see why anyone would buy the product from Argos when you can get a lifetime license elsewhere for the same price.

I think the retailer is simply confused. Further down the page under general information it refers to 12 year licence!

To be clear – Photoshop Elements & Premier Elements (all versions through v15) are perpetual licenses. It is not Creative Cloud subscription software.

Hallo, das Photo-Elements 9 lief auf meinem Rechner WIN 10 bis vor ca. 3 Wochen problemlos. Nun ist das Programm noch da, läßt sich aber nicht mehr benutzen. Nach Deinstallation und Neu-Installation hat sich nichts geändert. Ich habe mit dem Programm eine Lizens erworben, die unbegrenzt gilt bzw. galt.

Warum läuft das Programm (nach WIN-Update) plötzlich nicht mehr ??
