Linking Photoshop Elements 11 with Premier Elements 12

I have both installed. In Organizer on Photoshop Elements there is a button to link to Premier Elements. When I press it, it says I need to install the trial version of Premier Elements. As I say, I have it loaded on my computer and paid for.

I don't think you are able to link different versions of the two programs

Thanks. That's possibly the answer...so I have to upgrade and pay more money!
