Loss of use Elements 12

I purchased Elements long ago and updated several times.  I use it intermittently.  Today, it required me to login to Adobe and said I don't have an account and won't let me use my program (elements 12).

 

I don't have/want/need a subscription service, I just want to edit my photos with the program I bought.

The software license is for installation on 2 computers. Perhaps you have exceeded this threshold and need to deactivate on one machine. I am unaware of an update. Perhaps you can shed light on this.

If you registered the product at time of purchase, it should show up in your Adobe account. Suggest that you log on to your Adobe account to see if it listed.
