I just intstalled Photoshop Elements 2020 today. I then installed the latest update - so I'm up to date. Before I was using Photoshope Elements 15. Part of the reason I updated was because I was told there would be a map function that would work. However when I go to places I still see a grey screen - no map! How do I get the map to work in this new edition of Photoshop??
Okay an update.. after nearly three hours on the chat line - most of it waiting, and three different agents. the last agent sourced out the problem. Okay an update.. after nearly three hours on the chat line - most of it waiting, and three different agents. the last agent sourced out the problem. When the docking device was disconnected, the map display works fine. If the external monitors are enabled through the Plugable USB device, the map is greyed out. I've reached out to Displaylink to see if they can come up with a solution. So far my only work around is to boot up Elements 2020 with the monitors unplugged, then plug them in. The map will work on the external monitors as long as the program is open. Not elegant, but workable for now. thought I would pass this on if others out there encounter a similar problem

Thanks. That solved the problem for me too. I my case, I have PSE installed on a desktop PC which I usually access via a remote desktop session from a much less capable laptop. Via remote desktop the map doesn't work, but if I run in on a directly connected monitor it does. This had me puzzled for quite a while!
