Merch by Amazon Template

Merch by Amazon has a Photoshop template that I can't figure out how to edit with Elements. All the instructions given on how to edit the template on You Tube and within this template don't match the controls on Photoshop Elements 15. Can someone take a look and provide step by step help? That template is really made to edited in photoshop, not photoshop elements, but you can work with smart objects in pse 15 with an add-on like this
