Hi,

I have been researching for one month now, on how to move from Mac and Photos to PC and Photoshop Elements, and not been able to find an answer / guide.

I have a Mac-book Pro where all our photos are stored and edited in the Photos app. The library file in the size of 550gb+ and includes all our photos sorted in albums and with edits etc. The Mac is about to give up now, and we do not want to buy a new Mac, since we have enough PC's, and want to move away from Apple anyway.

So my question is:

Is it possible to transfer the photos we have in Photos (Album structure and edits) from the Mac to a NAS and then run it all from our PC’s? And what would be the steps to do so?

I am thinking of buying a Qnap 451+ NAS to store photos, music, backups etc. on.

Thanks for your input!
