Hi Mary,
Thanks for reaching out.
Glad to assist you with Photoshop Elements.
How do I move multiple pictures from a folder to an album?
When you import images to Elements Organizer, what application does is , it creates the link to that image from where you import i.e. to say it remembers the location of those images keeping them intact at their original location and not copying them to Organizer.
And folders visible inside organizer are same as that present on your hard drive or at other external location from where you have imported the images.
Albums are maintained by Organizer and don't have physical presence on hard drive.
So when you say move pictures from multiple folders to album, what elements organizer would do is, it would keep them in folders intact but will also add them to the album. So your files would be present in both.
Benefit of this- you can access the files of different folders at one place.
To do this , you can refer to this kb article: Creating albums and album categories in Elements Organizer
I hope this would be helpful in understanding the feature better. Please let me know if you have any queries.
Have a happy Photoshop Elements experience!!
Thanks,
Arshla
