Need help to download Elements 10

When trying to down Photoshop Elements 10 to a new laptop, I get the message that it will take more than 12 hours to download File 1.  I have added Adobe.com to the compatibility list.  Is this all normal?  Is there a faster way?

The pse 10 File 1 is an 1.5 gb file, a rather large file.

How fast is your internet connection?

If your using wireless try an actual wired internet connection, which is usually faster.
