nef wrong type file [Unable to open Nikon D800 Raw files in Elements 8]

I cannot open a raw file with elements 8 from my d 800.   I says nef is wrong type of file.    I can open raw file from my d 200.

The raw files from the D800 will work in PSE11 or higher. The current version is PSE15; so it’s best to buy that if you want to upgrade. Alternatively you can convert NEF into Adobe raw (DNG) without any loss of quality.
