New file default size

I almost always use the same size when opening a new file but Elements 18 keeps opening it at different sizes. I then have to drop down my clipboard to use the default setting that I have put in.

Does anybody know how to make it open the same size every time without it changing itself please?

Set up your new document and save it as a template before adding any photos, clip art, styles etc.

For example I have a template for 6x4 inches at 300ppi with white background.

It’s quick to launch from:

File >> Open Recently Edited File

See image below.

If used regularly it will even appear in the new Home Hub for PSE 2019

Thank you for your help. Do you know if there is a way of doing it using

keyboard shortcuts?
