New Monitor

After getting new monitor my photos are very dark when opened in photoshop elements.  How do I correct this.

You can calibrate the monitor - there are tools made for this purpose, e.g. Spyder5 Family Precise Monitor Calibration | Datacolor . If you are not inclined to invest in such a device, bring up a photo where the color was ok on your old machine, and try to adjust the new monitor by trial and error.
