Nik Collection 4 and PSE 2019

I use the Nik Collection as a plugin to PSE 2019. Recently when using the Nik collection I was prompted to install the latest update. When I did PSE editor would appear briefly on my screen before disappearing. I uninstalled the updated version and re-installed the version I had no problems with. I tried updating a couple of times but the result was the same.

I raised the issue with DXO and recieved the following reply; "unfortunenately we do not support the use of Nik Collection 4 with PSE2019, so we would be unable to troubleshoot this issue further."

I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if they were able to resolve it.

I have had the exact same problem, except with PSE2020. I have contacted DXO but so far have received no reply. I would also be very keen to know how to resolve this problem.

Keith. You will see that I was told by DXO that they did not support the use of the Nik Collection with Elements 2019.

To ensure that I could  continue to use an updated Nik Collection with Elements, I upgaded my Elements from 2019 to 2022 and have had no problems updating or using the Nik Collection since. I've even been able to use the new Luminar Neo as a plugin.
