I was using the latest paid version of NC and was working fine on IMAC. Some months ago it kept bombing out, I would finish the edit ok but then the Editor would just QUIT.
I am now using Big Sur 11.2.2
Could you please confirm how often did you face this issue? Also, does uninstalling and reinstalling the Nik Collection plugin help? You might also want to check if you have the appropriate version of the plugin which is compatible with Big Sur.
