Not happy with product

I am really not satisfied with the photoshop elements 2021. For the amount of money spent I would  expect something better.

I just can't seem to get anything to work. When I purchased the photoshop elements I thought I was going to be able to get actual photoshop. But I now see that it is seperate and need to buy that too.

Every time I have opened up the program and attempted to do anything the
photo does not appear anything has been done.
