Not installing - 64 bit error

Installation fails with the error that it only runs on a 64-bit machine. This is a 64-bit machine. So why the error?

Please tell the Elements version that you are trying to remove, along with the platform details on which you are using.

Elements 2018, Windows 10 (fully updated). I'm trying to install, not remove.

Sure, Sometimes even 32 bit OS runs on a 64 bit machine, could you please check the properties of your computer and verify if the OS is also a 64 bit and not a 32 bit.
