Opening images in PSE 15

Recently when opening dng images in the editor PSE15 has been opening a new small window with the image. I then use the view tab to expand the image. Any way to eliminate this?

You have just discovered a serious bug which appeared after the lateste Windows 10 (1803) update.

Elements 15: floating images open extremely small in the editor

Until a real workaround is found, you might set your preferences to disable the option to 'open documents in floating windows in expert mode'.

Have the same problem but it seems to be with any type of images
