Upon opening Photoshop Elements 8 (in use for years) received Error Msg: 150:30 and told to Restart computer, if Msg returns contact Adobe for guidance. I did, and it did, so here I am. What do I do?

The Licensing Repair Tool is what you want. The download link for Mac and PC is at the bottom.

I answered and went back to finish sleeping. Upon waking discovered a solution e-mailed to me by "gener7" (so relieved to find in e-mail). It worked as advertised and I'm back happily using my Photoshop Elements program as I have for years. I'm glad you're there but it's not easy. Come from generation which wants immediate feedback by talking to a live human being in a back and forth conversation. Gener7 is my hero. Thank you.

Thank you   I've been in the forums for over ten years, so I have a better chance at getting to an answer quickly, but it helps to know exactly what you have.

One thing that will help you understand they way the forums work:

Please understand that these forums are not Adobe Support. The vast majority of the participants here are end users themselves volunteering their personal time to assist other users. Occasionally, Adobe employees do monitor these forums although in many cases, they are also not part of Adobe Support. (Of course Adobe gives me perks, but I'm not an employee).

Adobe Support itself is live chat by keyboard, but because they have to support an entire line of products, they limit support to their current lineup. So they will direct you here for older software they no longer sell.
