I have a Canon 5 D Mark III. I can't open Raw files. I think I need software to do so. Any ideas?
Hi Martin. Go to the Help menu and click Install Camera Raw.
In an effort to reduce the program download size for those that don't use it, Camera Raw in Elements 2023 is now a separate download.
@EviaS, your camera requires ACR 15.1. Elements 2023 only supports ACR 14.4. However, there is a workaround that allows you to install the current version (ACR 15.5). You must follow the instructions found here very precisely. Since you have already downloaded (and installed?) ACR 15.5, you can skip the steps to do that again. The ACR plug-in file should already be in the folder set out in the linked article.

Hey, Thanks. I downloaded Camera Raw and everything went well. I was able
to open my raw files so all is good. Thanks for the prompt and accurate
response. BTW-I'm a photographer and own the full but older version of
Photoshop. I've always found it hard to work with and quickly moved to
Lightroom. That was more to my liking. But I needed to use Photoshop again
and dreaded it. I decided to try Elements and am glad I did. It's much
easier, intuitive, cleaner interface, and fun to use. I'm not using all the
bells and whistles that come with Elements 23. I can complete my work with
Elements tools. Just wanted to give a shout-out. I complain when things
don't go well. I like to give positive feedback when go well.
Have a good day.

I have Sony A7R V and encounter the same problem with MacBook Air (OS 12.4). Followed your advice to download and install the latest Camera Raw 15.5 (tried 14.5 as well). Doesn't work. Any other suggestion would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
