Using PSE Organizer 2023 on Macbook (M2 Pro, 16 GB RAM, 600 GB free on the SSD, Sonoma 14.3). I have about 44K images in the catalog. Performance is good when first opening the application and catalog, but after using for 3-5 minutes, I get the spinning wheel of death (the wheel that shows in Organizer) when I move to a different album to view other photos. The delay can be 1-2 minutes before Organizer starts responding normally again. If I then move to another album the same slowdown occurs and often gets worse. I've also had similar slowdowns when importing photos - it did this once when I was trying to import just one photo and I had to Force Quit the app after a few minutes. I have turned off all the media analysis features and turned off the use of the GPU (in the PSE Editor), but to no avail. The app can use up to 70% of RAM. I upgraded my laptop from a 2012 Macbook Air with PSE 14 in Sept. 2023. I had no such problems with this catalog on the ancient Air and PSE 14. I'm out of ideas, so thought I'd post and hope for the best. Thanks in advance for any help.
