Organizer 2026 not loading Photo Editor

Organizer 2026 Ver. 20251112.EO.64802456 not loading Photo Editor, instead offers "Download trial" "Photoshop Elements for free". I already bought & installed PSE 2026 that was loading Photo Editor from Organizer before this apparent update.

Something similar happened here on Windows 11 after the update to Photoshop Elements 26.1.

I had to uninstall Photoshop Elements 2026, then reinstall to get things right.

You can get the 26.1 installer from your Adobe account.

Should I reinstall PSE 2026 with the current original PhotoshopElements_2026_LS30_win64.exe or should I click on the "Download trial" "Photoshop Elements for free"  button and expect it to recognize that I already have purchased PSE 2026?

Use the the installer you can get from your Adobe account, which is the PhotoshopElements_2026_LS30_win64.exe.

Just to be clear: After an apparent automatic PSE 2026 update, opening Photo Editor from Organizer produced a prompt to "Download trial" "Photoshop Elements for free"., I had to uninstall PSE 2026 and reinstall it with the PhotoshopElements_2026_LS30_win64.exe to get Photo Editor Version: 26.1 (20251103.PSE.3b4992eb) x64.

Note: Organizer remains Version 26.0 (20251112.EO.64802456) only Photo Editor updates to Version 26.1

If I uninstall PSE 2026, will everything I have on the Organizer remain?  I'm worried about losing it and having to start from scratch!

@suzafone your Elements Organizer catalog will remain intact.

And since this thread was started, there has been another update (2026.2) which has supposedly fixed the installation issues found in the update to 2026.1.
