Organizer, new disk, new filestructure

Community Beginner ,

I have trouble finding good info on Organizer....(Why is the support options Photoshop or Premiere when Organizer is equally important?)

I am looking for the best practice to do the following:

* How to physically move around folders to create a new structure and keep the link to Photoshop/Premiere?

* How to move from disk A to the larger Disk B (internal)

In which order to do this and how to best do it..?

Thanks

In the organizer, you have a 'folders' panel on the left.

You can drag and drop folders within that folders panel (in tree view). All moves made from within the organizer do keep the connection to the moved files or folders.

You can either move a whole folder tree from a disk to another by drag and drop from the folders panel (be very patient...) or better, use the backup and restore process which moves both your photo files tree and your catalog:

Great Thanks - However surprised that there is no link inside "Photoshop help" to this support doc. Chance for improvement!

I failed to open the pdf one, did not load properly, but I can reach the online one.

The pdf file is very new (6th of February). All pdf fies for all Adobe applications are being updated progressively. MVP and ACPs are now asking for adding the links to existing online help files. Downloading may take some time (197 pages).
