Organizer panels should retain their modified size from one execution to the next've m

Photoshop Elements 15 Organizer does not seem to retain the resized dimensions of the Albums/Folders panel, the Tags/Information panel, or the Zoom level of the media panel.  Every time I restart the Organizer I have to take some extra steps and time to resize these panels so that I'm able to view all the information I need to work with.  If I've somehow managed to overlook how to do this please let me know.  If this is not a capability I'd ask Adobe to seriously consider making this change in the next product release.

Hi Bill,

Default behavior is that Organizer remembers your right panel (Tags/Info panel)  changes and zoom level changes but not the left panel (Album/Folders) changes on re-launch. So I would request you to please confirm if these two changes are being remembered or not on re-launch.

In case not, close Organizer, go to file explorer and type %appdata% on top bar and hit enter:

Now navigate to Adobe> Elements Organizer > 15.0 .

Rename the Organizer folder here to Organizer_old. Now relaunch Organizer and do the changes to zoom level and right panel size. Close and relaunch Organizer and check if it works fine.

I would be waiting for your response and assist you further in case issue persists.

Thanks,

Arshla

Arshla,

I just completed running a set of simple test on the interface and it does seem to behave the way you indicated.  That said, I would find it very helpful if it also remembered the size of the left side panel where the file tree is displayed.  Personally, I'd also like it to remember which folder was being viewed when the Organizer is shut down and bring that back up on the next execution. In summary I think it would be nice to preserve the entire state of the UI from one execution to another.

Hi Bill,

I am glad that your query has been answered to. As I mentioned earlier, the state of only right panel and the zoom level are preserved on a fresh launch. In case of left panel, the default behavior is to preserve its open/closed state , folders or album view state and the view of folders(tree or list).

Remembering last seen folder is not a functionality as of now. But we would surely consider your feedback for further improvements to the product.

Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs. We expect the similar feedback from you in future as well.

Regards,

Arshla
