Hi everyone,
I used to use Adobe Photoshop Elements a long time ago and I am trying to come back to it after running into issues with Picasa end of life, My Life / Shutterfly losing facial detection, and Google Photos not allowing me to manually tag faces. I just installed APE 2018 and used the Organizer to index one of my Dropbox folders that has 600+ photos. I was able to use the People and Places features successfully without issue. However, I am running into issues when I use the Search interface. Here is what is happening:
The only way that I have found to get the application to start working again is to close APE and start over. But this essentially means that I can't use the Search interface which is annoying.
Is anyone else running into this issue? What can I try to do to mitigate it?
Thanks,
Matt

I found a solution via this thread: PSE Organizer won't return to Media after Search | Adobe Community
My laptop has both the Intel HD Integrated Graphics and an NVIDIA graphics card. Apparently there is a conflict with the Organizer and the NVIDIA card. I used the NVIDIA Control Panel to add a specific setting to use the Integrated Graphics with Organizer and now I am able to bounce back and forth between Search and the main grid as expected.
Hope this helps someone else.
